Fall 2015 Update

Greetings!

Just wanted to give you all an update as to what is going on. There's some ups and some downs, but things are still going on and forward. So, here we go...sorry for the long read.

- The album will be recorded/mixed at Rookwood Audio in Butte, MT. Mastering is planned to be done by the great Maor AppelbaumDrums will be performed by Charlie Fell (Abigail Williams/Cobalt/Nachtmystium/etc) for the purpose of recording the album. He will be coming through in the next few weeks to do his tracking and then on to Olympia where he lives.
Bass on the recording will still be performed by my longtime friend James Carrick, as originally planned. We will be recording video of the recording session and uploading stuff to youtube, so stay tuned for that.

- If we pursue any shows after the album is finished, we will be looking for a live drummer
AJ Puckett is still currently involved as our 2nd guitarist. If we do anything in the future beyond recording the CD, he will be the man onstage with us. Tom Thompson is still our voice. Everyone needs to start plugging him to practice so he can record his vocals. :-p

- Still planning on the same guest spots on the album. As originally mentioned before: Greg Burgess (Allegaeon) and Brad Hull (Forced Entry/Sanctuary). They haven't been sent anything, so I can't tell you what's going on with that yet. I also plan on fulfilling our original interest of having our friend Jeremiah Hammon (Ravings Of A Madman) do a guest vocal spot. There might also be a spot from my friend Ben Epperle (At Home In Hell). Lastly, I'm hoping the stars align so Cori can play some of his parts on the album. After all...he wrote most of the music for this effort. Artwork will likely be completed by A Thousand Arms, though, we are still looking at options..

- We will indefinitely be unavailable for any live performances. In the meantime, you can catch me performing with At Home In Hell and Age Of Nefilim. The rest of the guys (besides Charlie, who tours all the time) aren't doing anything else live, or I would tell you to go support them as well.

Here's a video of me performing with At Home In Hell on Halloween in Great Falls, MT

So, that's pretty much the meat of it. Help us out with the funding of the full length by purchasing a download of our remastered demo here at our Bandcamp page. Hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving and winter! - K.

Summer 2015 Update

Greetings!

Just wanted to give you all an update as to what is going on. There's some ups and some downs, but things are still going on and forward. So, here we go...sorry for the long read.

- Kenny Lough and Lincoln Vaughn are, once again, no longer a part of the band...and have not been since Super Bowl Sunday. Wish them the best.

- AJ Puckett is still currently involved as our 2nd guitarist. Cori Burwell gave his blessing to continue on, and the only person I can see filling this void besides Cori is AJ.

- Tom Thompson is still our voice, however, he can't participate as much as he'd like to. This means we'll limited to how much we actually do as a band. This will primarily only effect live performances.

- We have recently finished pre-production on our upcoming album. This is long overdue, and we look forward to getting this finally completed. The majority of the album will be recorded/mixed at Rookwood Audio in Butte, MT. Not fully sure, but mastering may be done by the great Maor Appelbaum.

- Drums will, as of now, be performed by Donny Swanson (In Defiance - Spokane) for the purpose of recording the album. At this time, the drum tracks will be recorded in Spokane at Chroma Recording. If you'd like to see what Donny is capable of, here's a video of him playing an In Defiance track.

- Drums will likely be filled by Dan Graa, of Butte. Why are we using one drummer to do the album and one to be in the band? Dan currently has an ankle injury, so he might not be 100% up to speed until later. Here's his audition video he made for us, so you know we're not just handing it to just anyone.

- Bass on the recording will be performed by my longtime friend James Carrick. I am perfectly capable of doing this myself, but I've chosen to have James involved. I was in the band G.O.Y.A. (Get Off Your Ass) with James back in 2000-2001 in Tucson, AZ. He's a dear friend of mine, and I wouldn't bring him on if I wasn't sure of his abilities.

- I've been speaking to a few guys about doing some guest spots on the album. 2 dudes in particular, I'm really proud to have gotten a confirmation of would be Greg Burgess (Allegaeon) and Brad Hull (Forced Entry/Sanctuary). Artwork will likely be completed by A Thousand Arms.

- We will not be available for any live performances until possibly the end of the year, if not until 2016. We look forward to returning hard and strong, but we are also not in a hurry to just get on it when not 100% ready. So...start demanding us to be onstage for Evel Days and Original Fest in Butte.

So, that's pretty much the meat of it. Help us out with the funding of the full length by purchasing a download of our remastered demo here at our Bandcamp page. Sorry for the long read, figured I'd get it all done and out. Until next time, pieces! - K.

New sorta-official video for Cavecricket

So, we made a video. Sure, it's just clips from the original "Nosferatu" film from 1933, but alas...it's here. Not much to say about it, other than enjoy. We'll have more stuff out soon, hopefully something that isn't just our songs over a free-use video. Thanks, and spread as usual.

Stream our Demo on Youtube!

You can currently stream our entire 5-song demo, newly remixed and remastered (originally from 2007). We are asking that if you enjoy the tracks, please head to our Bandcamp page and purchase the songs.
We are trying to raise funds, which will all go towards the production/mixing/mastering/duplication of our long-overdue full length album...tentatively titled "The Divine Right Of Kings". With your help, we can make big things happen. We aren't signed, and don't forsee that as an option to pursue, so we are asking for your gracious help. Also, if you want to help but aren't interested in having the songs on hand, you may wish to donate to us via Paypal. Once again, we thank you humbly for your support and look forward to releasing this work to you with full force! Spread the word, and keep the metal flowing! - Kevin

Pre-production has begun!

Beginning a few days ago, we are starting to work on pre-production for the long-overdue full length album, tentatively to be titled "The Divine Right Of Kings". Pictured above is the workboard for the pre-production, with working titles that we have been using up until this point. There are actually steps that have already been worked on, but a few things need to be ironed out between members to determine whether we need to scrap and start over or if we are on a workable path. Basically, it's deciding how much of what we started 3 years ago is going to be used or not. We have irons in the fire, and there will be updates made as they come. For now...it's kinda a clean slate for you. Stay tuned...

Welcome to the RRR Blog!

Welcome! We will try to periodically post some stuff here for those who wish to know about the band and what we have going on. For now, this is all I have for ya. Stay tuned as news will keep on rollin in!
